Our Management are committed to keep our workplace safe and healthy. To keep our productivity up and running, our risk management team assess every work to make sure our staffs keep risk at it's lowest.
The key principles of the Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act are to reduce risks at source, increase industry stakeholders' ownership and focus on achieving good WSH outcomes and systems rather than complying with prescriptive requirements.
bizSAFE is a five-step programme to assist companies build up their WSH capabilities in order to achieve quantum improvements in safety and health standards at the workplace. Companies are guided through a journey, starting from top management demonstrating their commitment towards WSH, to acquiring risk management capabilities and implementing a WSH Management System. In the process, participating companies gain recognition and benefits of having a comprehensive WSH system in place.
To embark on the bizSAFE journey, Our top management had signed up for a bizSAFE workshop for CEOs/Top Management conducted by the bizSAFE service providers. Upon completion of the workshop, our company was granted bizSAFE Level 1 status.
We have nominated a Risk Management (RM) Champion to attend a bizSAFE course on Risk Management. At the end of the course, the RM Champion must chart out the RM Implementation Plan. Our Company will then be upgraded to bizSAFE Level 2
Workplaces which achieved bizSAFE Level 3 would have their RM implementation audited and this is an important step towards complying with the requirements in the WSHA and its subsidiary legislation. In order to attain bizSAFE Level 3 status, your enterprise must engage an MOM Approved WSH auditor to assess the implementation of RM in your enterprise.
